Renowned artist Daniel Benson, also known as BNXN, has issued a stern warning to Nigerian clubs involved in the sale of counterfeit drinks, asserting that such practices are jeopardizing the well-being of their patrons.
Expressing his discontent, the ‘Finesse’ singer recounted a recent incident in a Lagos club where he paid for a drink only to receive a counterfeit one.
In a message posted on his social media handle, BNXN declared, “Cease selling fake drinks after customers have invested substantially in your overpriced beverages. You’re putting our lives at risk. Show consideration for my health and my hard-earned money. Provide the genuine product for which I’ve paid; if you don’t have it, don’t substitute with a fake one!”
He further conveyed a warning that if the next club or lounge attempts to sell him a counterfeit drink, he will not hesitate to intervene, even going so far as to take the microphone from the hypeman and publicly address the issue.
