Young Duu expresses distress as Carter Efe allegedly appropriates his music.

Former Zeh Nation signee, Young Duu, has accused skit maker and music executive Carter Efe of appropriating his song, ‘Oyinmo.’ After parting ways with Portable’s record label, Zeh Nation, Young Duu collaborated with Carter Efe on the track, which was released last week.

During a recent Instagram live session with fans, Young Duu hinted at a growing discord with Carter Efe, describing him as a “helper” who allegedly used industry tactics to claim ownership of the song. He expressed frustration that Carter Efe was now performing ‘Oyinmo’ at events without his involvement.

Young Duu voiced his grievances, stating, “Carter Efe has employed various industry tactics to take my song from me. He’s now making appearances at shows to perform the song without including me. He’s not even an artist; he’s a comedian.”

He continued, “Carter Efe doesn’t want anyone else to assist me. Despite people genuinely trying to help me, he positions himself as my savior. I don’t want to disclose everything, but he’s now performing my song at events without my presence. After my unpleasant experience with Portable, now Carter Efe wants to treat me poorly too. It’s not fair.”
