The singer, known for hits like ‘Johnny,’ took to her X (formerly Twitter) page to express her joy after her performance at the opening ceremony of the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast. However, when a fan claimed she was superior to Tiwa Savage, Alade discouraged such comparisons, emphasizing the importance of supporting and celebrating both artists.

She aptly described comparison as “the thief of joy,” urging fans to appreciate the success of both musicians.
