Nigerian artist Ayodeji Balogun, widely recognized as Wizkid, achieved notable recognition at the recent British Photography Awards (BPA) held in London over the weekend.

Wizkid’s captivating performance image from the Glastonbury Festival earlier this year secured the prestigious Event Category Award at the 2023 British Photography Awards.

This iconic photograph was skillfully captured by Nick Haill, a freelance photographer and graphic designer based in London. Wizkid proudly stands as the inaugural Nigerian celebrity whose image has clinched a coveted British Photography Award.
