UNIOSUN Launches Top-Up Program for HND Holders

Osun State University (UNIOSUN) announced a new top-up program designed for Higher National Diploma (HND) holders seeking a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree. The program was unveiled during the matriculation ceremony for 233 part-time students.

The program allows HND graduates to complete a B.Sc. degree in just 24 months (six semesters).The program caters to part-time learners and offers a range of disciplines, including Accounting, Building, Sociology, and others aligned with existing university programs.

Professor Adetunji Kehinde, representing the Vice-Chancellor, emphasized the university’s dedication to high academic standards and strong discipline. The university has a strict policy against exam malpractice, cultism, and other forms of misconduct. Students found engaging in such activities will face disciplinary action, including potential dismissal.

While acknowledging the challenges of juggling responsibilities, Professor Kehinde expressed confidence in the maturity and focus of the part-time students.

This initiative demonstrates UNIOSUN’s commitment to providing accessible and flexible educational pathways for individuals seeking to further their qualifications.
