UNILORIN graduates 256 students with first-class honors

University of Ilorin Announces 256 First-Class Graduates

The University of Ilorin is set to graduate a total of 12,042 students at its upcoming 39th convocation ceremony. Among the graduates are 256 first-class students, spread across various faculties including Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Veterinary Medicine.

Vice-Chancellor Prof Wahab Egbewole announced the figures at a press briefing, highlighting the university’s achievements in research, digital innovation, and international collaborations.

Egbewole emphasized the university’s commitment to becoming a leader in higher education in Nigeria, citing its progress in digital transformation, research grants, and partnerships with international institutions.

The convocation ceremony is expected to be a significant milestone for the University of Ilorin as it continues its pursuit of academic excellence and global recognition.
