Former President Donald Trump recently posted a curious court sketch on social media, depicting his presence during his Manhattan fraud case alongside an individual bearing a resemblance to Jesus Christ. The image was shared on Facebook without any accompanying caption.

This isn’t the first time Trump has shared this particular image. Earlier this month, he initially shared it on his Truth Social platform, coinciding with the commencement of his lawyers’ defense in court. They were contesting the valuation of his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, arguing that its true worth exceeded the $18 million figure cited by prosecutors, stating it was closer to $1 billion.
On October 20th, Trump re-shared the same image on Facebook following a fine imposed by a New York judge in response to a violation of a gag order in his civil fraud trial. Judge Arthur Engoron fined Trump $5,000 for his actions.
During the court proceedings, Judge Engoron criticized the former president for failing to remove an online post that had mocked a court clerk. He even issued a stern warning, raising the prospect of imprisonment and demanding the removal of the “untrue and disparaging” post that had been made about the clerk earlier in the month. While the post had been deleted from social media, it remained accessible on Trump’s website.
