The administration of President Bola Tinubu has been described as deeply committed to ensuring transparency in governance and promoting even infrastructural development across Nigeria. This was emphasized during a Town Hall stakeholders meeting at the Local Government Service Commission, Government Secretariat, Osun State, where Khadijat Kareem, the Personal Assistant to the President on Constituency Affairs, outlined the President’s dedication to addressing key issues affecting Nigerians.
Kareem stated that President Tinubu’s administration is focused on transparency, accountability, and responsiveness to the people’s needs. She stressed the government’s intent to work collaboratively with local government stakeholders and community leaders to fulfill its vision for the nation.
“Mr. President is committed to addressing the issues that matter most to you all. His administration is dedicated to transparency, accountability, and responsiveness to your needs. We recognize the unique challenges facing Osun State, from infrastructure development to economic empowerment,” Kareem said.
She went on to highlight the administration’s goals of creating a brighter future for Nigerians, where citizens have access to quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. Kareem assured stakeholders that their concerns would be directly communicated to President Tinubu, with immediate actions to be taken to address the pressing needs of the state and its people.
Governor Ademola Adeleke, represented by his spokesperson Olawale Rasheed, expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for sending an envoy to engage with the people of Osun. Rasheed urged the President to prioritize the completion of ongoing and abandoned federal projects in the state, emphasizing the need for greater collaboration between the federal and state governments.
“We remain committed to federal-state partnership. We look forward to the completion of abandoned federal roads across the state. There are many abandoned projects in Osun State,” Rasheed said. “Our policy is one of partnership and collaboration with the center, without political coloration. We believe development transcends political divisions.”
Rasheed also commended the organization of the town hall meeting, which was held in collaboration with the state government, noting that it reflects President Tinubu’s commitment to collective leadership and delivering democratic dividends to the people.
The meeting saw stakeholders from various sectors—including market women, students, civil society organizations, and farmers’ groups—calling for immediate action on development issues, reinforcing the need for government attention to their concerns.
