The Inspector General of Police (IGP) has announced the appointment of new Police Public Relations Officers (PROs)

The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has given his approval for the assignment of Police Public Relations Officers (PPROs) to various commands and formations within the Nigeria Police Force.

In an official announcement made by ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, these appointments hold significant importance in improving communication, transparency, and community engagement in the respective duty areas.

The newly designated PPROs are as follows: DSP Chukwukadibia O. Omojola as the PPRO for Railway Command; ASP Mansir Hassanto as the PPRO for Kaduna State Command; ASP Nahum Daso Kenneth as the PPRO for Borno State Command; and ASP Mayegun Aminat Oluwakemi as the PPRO for the Force Criminal Investigations Annex, Lagos.

These officers were chosen for their professional competence, communication abilities, and dedication to nurturing positive relationships between the police force and the public.

The statement emphasized that they will play a central role in fostering trust between the Nigeria Police Force and the local communities.

The Inspector General of Police congratulates the newly appointed PPROs on their new responsibilities and expresses confidence in their capacity to carry out their duties with devotion and excellence.

These appointments take immediate effect.
