Super Eagles’ Camp Swells to 11 Players Ahead of AFCON 2025 Qualifiers

The Super Eagles’ camp in Uyo is filling up as 11 players have now arrived ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.

Captain William Troost-Ekong, along with Ademola Lookman, Ola Aina, and Taiwo Awoniyi, were among the first to report to camp on Monday morning.

Caretaker head coach Augustine Eguavoen also arrived in Uyo from Belgium on Monday, joined by one of his assistants, Fidelis Ilechukwu.

Victor Boniface, the Bayer Leverkusen forward, was the latest player to check into camp on Monday night.

The remaining 12 players are expected to arrive on Tuesday.

The Super Eagles will kick off their first official training session at the practice pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Tuesday.
