Sowore brands Tinubu’s first year in office as a dismal failure on May 29.

Omoyele Sowore, the 2023 African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, has labeled President Bola Tinubu’s last year in office as a significant failure. He expressed that if he were a class teacher, he would dissolve the class rather than score Tinubu’s administration.

Tinubu’s one year in office, marked on Wednesday, has evoked mixed feelings.

In a post on X, Sowore wrote: “The regime of @officialABAT failed so terribly in the last year that we would have to dissolve the class instead of scoring the regime!

“So, if I were a teacher and I have to score this regime after one year, I would have dissolved the class because there is nothing to score.

“I will take it as my responsibility to inform the authorities that for one year, we learnt nothing. Inflation has skyrocketed to unprecedented levels, unemployment has become a major issue, insecurity worsened in the last year, and there’s been no progress on the minimum wage.”
