Comedian Oluwaseyitan Aletile, popularly known as Seyi Law, has expressed that he does not feel sorry for Bola Tinubu assuming the role of Nigeria’s President.
Seyi Law believes that Tinubu has the potential to improve Nigeria by addressing the challenges left by former President Muhammadu Buhari. In a post on his X account on Tuesday, the comedian remarked that much of the criticism directed at Tinubu stems from his decision to let Buhari lead Nigeria once again.
He stated: “Dear @officialABAT, I am glad I never voted for Buhari at any point. I am content with that. The criticism you’re facing now is due to your choice to let Buhari rule again.
“Although I believe you have the capability to enhance Nigeria’s situation by tackling the mess left behind, I don’t feel pity for you for taking on this role.
“Asiwaju, thank you for addressing the exchange rate arbitrage and the fuel subsidy issues. Now, let’s work on implementing more policies to improve lives at the grassroots level.
“Your Excellency, focus on engaging with the young population in dialogue rather than concerning yourself with those orchestrating protests. You can’t afford to fail. God bless you and Nigeria.”
