Rangers’ manager, Philippe Clement, has pledged to support Cyriel Dessers in his quest to rediscover his goal-scoring prowess. Since his arrival at Ibrox this summer from Italian club Cremonese, Dessers has managed to find the back of the net just three times in 15 appearances. This has drawn criticism from Rangers fans, and he also lost his place in the team during the tenure of the previous manager, Michael Beale.
Clement, however, is determined to assist the striker in getting back on track. He stated, “I will provide Dessers with all the necessary tools, and then it’s up to him to deliver. This applies to every player.” Clement further emphasized, “We are committed to equipping our players with what they need to perform at their best,” as he addressed the club’s official website.
Clement’s first test as Rangers’ head coach will be against Hibernian, a home fixture scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
