Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has called on the club to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s attacking midfielder Xavi Simons, currently on loan at RB Leipzig. Saha highlighted Simons’ elusive playing style, making him a challenging opponent to defend against.
Despite United’s efforts to secure Simons during the summer transfer window, the talented Netherlands international opted for a move to RB Leipzig instead. In an interview with Casino Hawks, Saha expressed, “I think Manchester United should target Xavi Simons. He showed up during Euro 2024. He is very hard to defend against because he is always on the move.”
Saha added that Manchester United still requires more dynamism and creativity in their midfield. The club has already made several signings this summer, including Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro, but Saha believes further reinforcement is essential.
