Protest: Sanusi Criticizes Property Destruction in Kano

Former Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has condemned the recent acts of property destruction during protests in Kano. He expressed his dismay over the violent turn of events, emphasizing that such actions undermine the legitimate causes that protesters seek to highlight.

Sanusi urged protesters to maintain peace and order while expressing their grievances, reminding them that violence only detracts from their message. He called on all parties involved to seek constructive dialogue as a means of addressing the underlying issues, rather than resorting to destructive behavior that harms the community.

The former Emir also appealed to the authorities to ensure that the rule of law is upheld and that those responsible for the destruction are held accountable, stressing the importance of maintaining peace and stability in Kano during these challenging times.
