Police prepare for the possibility of at least 30 riots today.

Police are preparing for potential riots at over 30 locations today, following more than a week of unrest across the UK.

Authorities have pinpointed numerous hotspots where violence could erupt, and are closely monitoring threats against immigration centers. Far-right groups have circulated a list of legal firms and advice agencies as potential targets, urging individuals to “mask up” if they choose to participate.

Over 6,000 specialized riot police are on standby to address any violence that may occur.

Stephen Parkinson, the Director of Public Prosecutions, has cautioned that those involved in the riots could face charges related to terrorism.

Over 400 people have already been arrested in connection with the ongoing violence, which began after the tragic deaths of three young girls in Southport on July 29. More arrests are anticipated in the coming days.

On Tuesday night, Sir Keir Starmer, speaking from Downing Street, stated that he expects “substantive sentencing” for those involved in the unrest “before the end of this week.” This comes amid criticisms of “two-tier policing,” with some arguing that right-wing protesters are being treated more harshly than their left-wing counterparts.
