Police arrest man with gun, 25 live cartridges in Lagos

he Lagos State Police Command has officially announced the apprehension of Oladimeji Hassan for the illegal possession of weapons. The 27-year-old suspect was taken into custody on Tuesday morning in the Berger area.

According to a statement posted on the Command’s official handle, officers from the Ojodu Division made the arrest. The suspect was found in possession of a homemade firearm and twenty-five live cartridges.

The Command disclosed that an ongoing investigation is being conducted to uncover the motives behind the suspect’s activities. The post on social media stated, “Oladimeji Hassan, a 27-year-old male, was apprehended today at Berger by officers of Ojodu Division after being discovered with a locally crafted firearm and twenty-five live cartridges. Investigations are currently underway.”
