Nigerian artist Qudus Fakoya Oluwadamilare, popularly known as Qdot, has sparked speculation regarding the reported death of his colleague, Oladips. Despite the recent announcement by Oladips’ management via Instagram on Wednesday stating that the rapper had passed away on November 14, 2023, Qdot took to Instagram on Thursday to assert that Oladips is, in fact, alive.

Qdot shared a photo of Oladips on his Instagram page with the caption, “@oladipsoflife, my bro is alive.” This statement prompted a range of reactions, with some questioning the accuracy of the information, while others speculated that Oladips might have staged his death to generate publicity for his newly released album, ‘Superhero Adugbo.’
