Ogun Police Arrest Ex-Convict for Theft

So-Safe Corps Arrests Ex-Convict and Teen for Theft in Ogun

The Ogun State So-Safe Corps has apprehended an 18-year-old ex-convict, Abdullahi Idowu, and a 17-year-old, Samson Ojo, for stealing generator engine parts in the Idiroko border area.

The suspects were arrested during a joint patrol by the corps’ Special Squad and Idiroko Divisional Team. Idowu, who previously served time in a Benin Republic prison, confessed to the theft and revealed other criminal activities.

The stolen items, including the generator parts and a large battery, were recovered and handed over to the Nigeria Customs Service for further investigation.
