Rangers’ technical adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu, has named Remo Stars as the strongest team in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) this season. Ilechukwu also tipped the Sky Blue Stars as favorites to clinch the 2024-25 NPFL title.
The young coach acknowledged that his Rangers side faces slim chances of retaining the championship this season.
“I believe the team currently leading the NPFL table, Remo Stars, are the strongest this season,” Ilechukwu said during a media session in Lagos.
He added, “For Rangers, we’ll stay patient and watch, as teams like Remo Stars, Kano Pillars, Enyimba, and Shooting Stars are currently ahead of us following our exit from continental competition.”
Rangers are set to face Remo Stars in a crucial matchday four clash at the Remo Stars Stadium this Sunday.
