NNPCL Prioritizes In-House Sales for Port Harcourt Refinery Products

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has confirmed that products from the Port Harcourt Refinery Company (PHRC) are currently earmarked solely for its own retail outlets.

In a statement released on Wednesday, November 27, NNPCL’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye, clarified that the refinery has not yet initiated bulk sales or activated its online purchase portal.

Soneye further explained that the company is currently marketing products sourced from the Dangote Refinery, inclusive of relevant Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) fees.

“We are still in the process of finalizing the necessary procedures for commencing bulk sales and opening our purchase portal,” Soneye stated. “As of now, the products from Port Harcourt are exclusively for our retail network. Our pricing strategy remains dynamic, with regular reviews and adjustments as needed.”
