Nigeria’s money in wrong hands — Adeboye

The Redeemed Christian Church of God’s General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, expressed the belief that Nigeria’s wealth was in the wrong hands during the January Thanksgiving Service/First Sunday in 2024. The event, themed “Supernatural Enlargement,” took place at the RCCG Headquarters in Ebutte Metta. Adeboye anticipated a shift in wealth distribution within the country in the coming year.

Addressing the congregation, he emphasized that despite claims to the contrary, money is abundant in Nigeria, but it is currently held by those who misuse it. He predicted a transformation in financial dynamics, proclaiming that “wealth will change hands” and that economic winds would impact the country’s currency.

Reflecting on the December 2023 Congress, which focused on “Divine Repositioning,” Adeboye drew parallels between divine repositioning and ascending to the mountain top. He urged worshippers to engage in profound praise, seek wisdom for service, and maintain spiritual connection throughout 2024. Drawing inspiration from Solomon’s example in the Bible, he highlighted the importance of these elements in achieving distinction.

Adeboye encouraged the saints, assuring them that by the year’s end, they would experience a noticeable elevation to the mountain top. He prophesied positive transformations, stating that some who began the year insignificantly would emerge as significant figures by its conclusion. Emphasizing the rewards of serving God diligently, he declared that God not only repositions but also elevates those who earnestly serve Him.
