Singer Afeez Fashola, widely recognized as Naira Marley, has issued a stern warning of potential legal action against Nigerian record producer, Solomon Oyeniyi, known as K-Solo.
Back in September, K-Solo publicly accused Naira Marley of playing a role in the tragic demise of his former signee, Mohbad.
During an appearance on Channels TV’s program, “Rubbin’ Minds,” K-Solo stated, “Naira Marley can’t convince me that he is not connected to it. He is implicated in Mohbad’s death.”
In response, Naira Marley’s media team released a statement on Thursday, announcing their intent to take legal action against K-Solo for “defamation of character.” They also put forth a warning, vowing to sue anyone making unwarranted allegations against the singer in the future.
The statement read: “Naira Marley’s legal team is set to pursue a legal case against K-Solo for damaging his reputation through defamation. It is imperative to stress that baseless accusations and false statements can lead to severe consequences.
