NAF Strikes Kill Terrorists, Destroy Arms Depot in Niger State

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has successfully neutralized several terrorists and destroyed a key arms depot in Niger State. The operation, conducted on November 16, 2024, targeted the residence of Mallam Saleh, a notorious terrorist leader loyal to Dogo Gide.

Saleh’s activities, including attacks, abductions, and extortion, had terrorized communities in the Shiroro Local Government Area. The NAF, through its Operation Fansan Yamma, had been closely monitoring Saleh’s movements and planning a targeted strike.

During the operation, NAF aircraft engaged terrorists on motorcycles and destroyed their weapons cache. The impact of the strike was significant, weakening the terrorists’ capabilities and protecting innocent civilians.
