Mr. Ibu’s wife claims that her stepson, Jasmine, is considering moving to the UK as part of a couple.

Stella Maris, the wife of the ailing actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, has raised allegations claiming that her husband’s second son, Daniel, and the actor’s adopted daughter, Jasmine, are in a secret marriage. According to her, they are purportedly planning to relocate to the United Kingdom using funds donated for Mr Ibu’s medical treatment.

Mrs. Ibu made these assertions in response to social media activist Verydarkman’s previous claims that she accused Jasmine of diverting money intended for her husband’s surgery to purchase a new iPhone. Mrs. Ibu expressed disbelief at the idea of discussing luxury items while her husband was seriously ill in the hospital, stating, “How can I, Stella Maris Okafor, talk about all this when I have been sleeping in the hospital with my husband since he has been sick? So, I’ll leave my husband to go and do BBL for who?”

She went on to accuse Jasmine of blackmail, stating that private conversations from the past were being manipulated and presented as if they were current. Stella Maris clarified that these conversations were casual discussions that occurred long ago, and Jasmine had recorded and edited them to create a false narrative.

In addition, Stella Maris addressed Verydarkman directly, stating that after all the sensationalism subsides, the truth will prevail. She claimed that Jasmine and her second stepson had secretly married and were planning to travel to the UK as a couple in December. Stella Maris emphasized that she is the only one currently residing in Mr Ibu’s house, as the others have moved out due to the house’s condition. She suggested that the recent accusations stem from her request for an account statement to understand the financial affairs, questioning whether it was unreasonable to seek such information.
