The Niger State Police have confirmed the death of an unidentified man following an alleged marathon sexual encounter with a woman at a lodge in Paiko, located within the Paiko Local Government Area of the state.
Police spokesperson, SP Wasi’u Abiodun, released a statement on Thursday, indicating that investigations are ongoing and the cause of death will be confirmed after a medical autopsy.
Efforts are also underway to contact the deceased’s family, though no relatives have been reached so far, as the man had no phone or identification on him.
The statement reads: “A case of suspected sudden death was reported at Paiko Division. On October 15, at around 8:50 p.m., an unidentified male adult visited the LGA lodge with a woman. He later collapsed and was rushed to a nearby medical facility in Paiko, where he was pronounced dead.”
The report further revealed that the man collapsed while dressing and died at a guest house in Paiko, believed to be a popular location among travelers and traders, as well as the alleged site of his visit to a commercial sex worker.
