Logos Olori, an artist signed to Davido’s record label, narrowly avoids a fatal car crash

Nigerian artist and rapper, Logos Olori, recently experienced a harrowing car accident in Lekki, Lagos. The incident, which occurred on Sunday, was confirmed by the Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) signee through an Instagram post.

Olori, in his Instagram update, shared images of the extensively damaged vehicle and revealed that his label’s chief, Davido, had assured him of a replacement car. He also took the opportunity to call on the government to address the deteriorating condition of the Lekki road where the accident transpired.

In his words, he expressed gratitude for his survival, giving a shoutout to his godfather, Davido (often referred to as “001”), and mentioned that a new car was on the horizon. He also urged authorities to pay attention to the state of Lekki road, highlighting its pressing need for repairs.

It’s worth noting that Logos Olori previously stirred controversy with his debut single, ‘Jaye Lo,’ when the music video depicted scenes of people praying and dancing near a mosque. This sparked criticism, particularly from the Muslim community, who deemed it disrespectful to Islam. Initially, Davido shared a clip of the video on his social media, but due to the backlash, he eventually removed it and produced a new video for his artist, addressing the concerns raised.
