English Premier League powerhouses Liverpool and Manchester City are both keen on signing Nigerian defender Ola Aina.
Aina has only a few months remaining on his contract with Nottingham Forest and has yet to agree to an extension, despite the club’s strong desire to secure his future. The 28-year-old has impressed with his performances this season and recently marked his 50th Premier League appearance for Forest in their clash against Manchester City last weekend.
According to The Sun UK, Liverpool are eyeing Aina as a potential replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold, who could make a move to Real Madrid this summer. Meanwhile, Manchester City are considering him as a successor to Kyle Walker, who is expected to join AC Milan on a permanent deal.
Aina joined Nottingham Forest on a free transfer two years ago under manager Nuno Espírito Santo.
