Kanye West has expressed his dislike for Kendrick Lamar’s music.

American rapper Kanye West has openly admitted that he is not a fan of Kendrick Lamar’s music, despite recognizing his skills as a rapper.

In a post on X on Friday night, Kanye—also known as Ye—shared his disappointment over Kendrick’s feature on Playboi Carti’s latest album, I Am Music.
“I don’t like Kendrick Lamar’s music,” Kanye wrote. “He raps very well, but I didn’t need to hear him on Carti’s album.”

This statement follows Kanye’s recent criticism of J. Cole for apologizing to Kendrick after dissing him.

At the 2024 Dreamville Festival, J. Cole publicly expressed regret for his response to Kendrick’s shots at him and Drake on Future and Metro Boomin’s song Like That. He described his diss track as the “lamest sh*t” he had ever made.

However, Kanye disagreed, arguing that J. Cole was wrong to apologize.
