‘It was rigged’ – Charles Okocha hints on rematch after defeat to Portable

Renowned Nollywood actor, Charles Okocha, has called for the annulment of his scheduled ring bout against the controversial singer, Portable. The celebrity boxing match, organized to settle a financial dispute between the two personalities, concluded with Portable emerging as the victor.

Expressing his dissatisfaction with the outcome, Okocha accused the referee and event organizers of manipulating the match. In a social media post, the actor asserted that Portable had improperly removed his boxing gloves during the third round, an action that would typically result in immediate disqualification.

Okocha stated, “How can you give up in the 3rd round when we have 4 rounds? How do you take off your gloves in the third round, leading to total disqualification when the fight hasn’t ended? You all know this was rigged, with an incompetent referee who knows nothing about boxing rules. Nevertheless, we move on. Rematch is coming soon.”
