‘Invest to avoid stories that touch’ – Rudeboy advises colleagues

Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy from Psquare, is advising fellow entertainers to wisely invest the proceeds from their talents while they are still in the limelight. The ‘Reason With Me’ singer expressed concern about the increasing number of veteran Nigerian entertainers seeking public assistance due to health issues or financial hardships, emphasizing that such situations are diminishing the prestige of the entertainment industry.

Taking to his Instagram story, Paul shared a message urging those currently in the spotlight to be mindful of their financial decisions. He emphasized the challenges in the industry, including issues like depression, and stressed the importance of avoiding pitfalls by making prudent investments. In his words, “Seriously, a lot is going on in the industry, including depression and all. But, please, if it’s your time to shine, endeavor to invest. It’s not easy at all. Avoid stories that touch. I’ve also grown weary of hearing such stories. It seems like the industry is letting its guard down.”
