Former legislator Shehu Sani has cautioned those criticizing President Bola Tinubu for the ongoing insecurity in the country, including the northern region.

On his verified Facebook page, Senator Shehu Sani stated, “The hypocrisy of many individuals in the North is evident in how they tolerated insecurity during the eight years of Buhari and are now speaking out against it under Tinubu.

“It’s too early to forget how they shielded the past administration from criticism; it almost became a sin to critique the previous administration. At one point, all the nation’s security, intelligence, and defense apparatuses were headed by Northerners.

“Whenever I addressed the Senate about kidnappings and killings in the North, I faced insults, even from the Kaduna State Government and the ruling party.
