I’m not exerting pressure on Don Jazzy to marry – Father

Collins Enebeli Ajereh, the father of the renowned Nigerian record producer and music executive, Don Jazzy, has clarified that he is not exerting any pressure on his 40-year-old son to enter into matrimony.

Ajereh disclosed that Don Jazzy had experienced marriage previously, but he and his former spouse mutually decided to part ways. In a recent interview with TVC, Ajereh emphasized his stance of refraining from pressuring Don Jazzy into remarriage, highlighting that the choice to marry is a deeply personal one.

“He [Don Jazzy] was married. But they [he and his ex-wife] decided to end their marriage,” Ajereh explained. When asked about the possibility of Don Jazzy remarrying, he maintained, “Well, that is his choice. The question of marriage is an individual choice. Some people choose marriage and some don’t and yet have relationships that might blossom into what makes their lives complete.”

Ajereh further noted that he does not believe Don Jazzy’s decision to remain single is influenced by the nature of his profession.
