I narrowly escaped death on New Year’s Eve – Actress Mary Njoku

Nollywood actress Mary Remmy Njoku shared a harrowing experience of narrowly escaping a life-threatening incident on New Year’s Eve.

Reflecting on the incident, the actress expressed gratitude for avoiding a potentially “major” accident just a few hours into 2024, attributing her survival to what she believes was not her designated time to face such a perilous situation.

In a post on her Instagram page, the filmmaker recounted the incident: “Few hours to 2024. I almost didn’t make it. What could have been a major accident averted. Still don’t know how I escaped it. But I did. It wasn’t my time. So, it almost doesn’t count.”

Acknowledging the fragility of life, she made a resolution for the new year, vowing to “slow down and love life every day as if it were going to be my last.” Mary emphasized the brevity of existence and the importance of cherishing every moment, noting, “Life is too short to be anything but happy. Grateful.”

Concluding her post, she shared a poignant reminder: “If it’s not time, it’s not your time! 2023 was not my time.”
