‘I am single’ – Cardi B confirms separation from Offset

Cardi B, the American rapper, has officially confirmed the end of her marriage with Offset. Addressing her 169 million Instagram followers during a recent live session, the mother of two revealed that she has been single for a while but struggled with how to share this news publicly. The revelation coincided with rapper Blueface accusing Offset of involvement with his baby mama, Chrisean Rock. Offset denied the allegations, asserting he had never been involved with Blueface’s baby mama.

During her Instagram Live session, Cardi B expressed her indifference towards Blueface’s claims and stated that she has been single for a considerable time. She admitted being hesitant to share her relationship status but felt that the moment was right. Cardi B emphasized that the state of her marriage had been like this for a while and expressed a desire to start fresh in 2024, embracing a new life and beginning.

It’s worth noting that Cardi B and Offset had recently unfollowed each other on Instagram. The couple, who secretly married in 2017 and shares two children, faced a publicized separation in September 2020 when Cardi B filed for divorce. Despite this, they reconciled in October 2020. In June 2023, Cardi B openly criticized Offset after he accused her of infidelity.
