His money and fame will not change me. I’m not interested in that” – Footballer Sadio Mane’s wife Aisha Tamba insists

Al Nassar, the Senegalese footballer Sadio Mane’s wife, has recently opened up about her marriage to the football star, emphasizing that his wealth and fame will not alter her humble demeanor.

The former Liverpool player tied the knot with 18-year-old Aisha Tamba in an Islamic ceremony on January 7 in Keur Massar, a suburb of Dakar, Senegal. Despite Mane’s lavish lifestyle as a multi-millionaire footballer, earning an impressive £650,000 per week and enjoying perks like private jets, Aisha’s previous life in a modest part of Dakar, surrounded by about 30 relatives, stands in stark contrast.

Speaking through a relative, Aisha expressed her anticipation for the new chapter in her life but clarified that she feels no pressure to change due to Sadio’s fame and wealth. She asserted her commitment to remaining a humble person true to her faith, emphasizing her family’s preference for privacy and modesty. Aisha stated, “I am a very down-to-earth person; this is how I was raised, and nothing will be different just because of this marriage.” Despite the changes, she expressed honor in becoming Mrs. Mane and disclosed her plans to join Sadio in Saudi Arabia after completing her final school exams.

Contrary to the extravagant lifestyles often associated with footballers’ partners, Aisha and Mane won’t be going on a honeymoon, as her father advised her to focus on her studies. Despite Mane’s association with high-profile players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Aisha remains unfamiliar with Ronaldo’s partner, Georgina Rodriguez, and she refrains from engaging in social media.

Aisha’s relatives emphasized their family’s devotion to Islam, considering it their top priority. Aisha’s cousin, Amadou, shared that their happiness about the marriage stems from Mane’s humility rather than his wealth and fame. Despite Mane’s current commitment with the Senegal squad in the Africa Cup of Nations in the Ivory Coast, Aisha’s focus remains on her studies and religious pursuits.
