Renowned singer, Crown Uzama, also known as Shallipopi, has responded to accusations suggesting that he spent N9 million to acquire “fake streams” in order to boost his songs on digital music charts.

Ebaide, an emerging artist, had claimed that a music influencer deceived her by taking money for the promise of enhancing her music streams but failed to deliver on the service. She further asserted that she agreed to pay for the service after learning that the same influencer had allegedly done so for Shallipopi at a cost of N9 million.

Shallipopi, taking to his X handle, dismissed the allegations as “fake” and attributed them to individuals seeking attention. He expressed his belief that such claims were unfounded and asserted, “Fake!! Y’all looking for attention with the wrong contents and think it’s right? 9m wey I go take chill make I leave Plutomanias to dey stream!! Anyways your Karma is coming.”
