Gunmen kill 19-year-old, injure two others in Plateau community

A resident of the village, Benshark Timothy, mentioned that this incident is part of a series of renewed attacks in Barkin Ladi, Riyom, Bokkos, and Mangu, allegedly carried out without provocation. The Berom Youth Moulders (BYM) issued a statement, condemning the recent killings and expressing concern over intelligence suggesting that Fulani militant groups have vowed to escalate hostilities during the Christmas celebrations.The BYM called on security outfits, particularly Operation Safe Haven (OPSH), to intensify efforts to combat terrorism and eliminate terrorist elements reportedly stationed in specific areas. The organization appreciated the rapid response of Sector 4 Commander, Col. U.S. Abdulsallam, and sympathized with the families affected by the attacks.
