The Governor of Osun State shared these insights during a recent meeting with members of the Osun Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) in his office.
Adeleke emphasized his administration’s readiness for substantial engagement with the political community, represented by the association.
He expressed, “Following elections, it is crucial for all political factions to focus on the success of the elected government. We should prioritize the wisdom and aspirations of the populace.”
“When my administration began addressing outstanding half-salary debts from the previous government and included senior citizens in the Osun Health Insurance Scheme (OHIS), public sentiment toward the political establishment improved,” he added.
Highlighting the commencement of governance post-election, Adeleke stressed the importance of collective efforts and sound political principles to advance the state.
Additionally, he pledged to address IPAC’s numerous requests by taking appropriate actions.
The Chairman of Osun IPAC, Victor Akande, stated that their visit aimed to introduce the newly elected council executives to the Governor.
Akande clarified that IPAC isn’t opposition but a collaborator in progress with the current administration. He assured full support to ensure Governor Adeleke’s success, emphasizing that the governor’s achievements are intertwined with Osun IPAC’s goals.
