On Monday, Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, inaugurated four new permanent secretaries within the state’s Civil Service. Emphasizing the selection criteria, Abiodun highlighted that seniority, merit, and the collective interest of the state’s populace guided the appointments.
During the swearing-in ceremony, the governor pledged to build upon the foundations established in the preceding four years. He underscored his administration’s commitment to prioritizing skills, experience, and integrity, with a continued focus on enhancing the welfare of state workers.
Governor Abiodun urged the newly appointed permanent secretaries, namely Mrs. Roseline Jacob, Mr. Samuel Oyeleye, Mrs. Kehinde Akinola, and Mr. Oladipupo Ogunfowora, to foster close collaboration with their respective commissioners.
In a subsequent interview, Mrs. Jacob and Mr. Oyeleye expressed gratitude to the governor for entrusting them with the responsibilities of permanent secretaries in the state’s civil service. They affirmed their dedication to contributing value to the ongoing programs of the current administration.
