Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, has called on Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Tinubu as he tackles the country’s economic challenges.
Speaking to journalists on Sunday in Osogbo, Oyintiloye acknowledged the tough times Nigerians are currently facing but reassured them that the president is working tirelessly to improve the economy.
“The president isn’t resting—he’s working day and night to bring about lasting economic reforms,” said Oyintiloye, urging Nigerians to remember that Tinubu inherited many of these challenges.
He further explained that the economic policies being implemented by the president may seem difficult now, but they are designed to set the country on a path to long-term prosperity.
“Tinubu took office when the economy was already in decline, and the reforms he’s putting in place require time and understanding from the people,” Oyintiloye stated.
While he admitted that the positive effects of these policies are starting to show, he emphasized that the results will improve with time.
“President Tinubu is focused on revitalizing various sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, technology, and the marine economy. His administration is also implementing initiatives to attract foreign investment and support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs),” he added.
Oyintiloye concluded by asking for continued patience, prayers, and support from Nigerians, promising that with a little time, the nation will see significant improvement and rise again.
