Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has expressed strong confidence that her upcoming film Everybody Loves Jenifa will generate N5 billion in revenue when it hits cinemas in December.
In a viral video with some of the film’s cast, Akindele shared her optimism, stating, “We are making N5 billion this year.”
Should the movie meet this ambitious target, it would break the record set by Akindele’s previous film, A Tribe Called Judah, which became the first Nigerian movie to surpass one billion naira at the box office.
With Everybody Loves Jenifa poised for a major release, Akindele’s track record and her confidence suggest that the film has the potential to achieve significant commercial success
