Minister Commends NLRC for Regulatory Role

The Minister of Special Duties and Inter-governmental Affairs, Zaphaniah Jisalo, has praised the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) for its effective regulation of the gaming and lottery industry in Nigeria.

During the 2024 stakeholders meeting hosted by the NLRC in Lagos, Jisalo emphasized the commission’s positive impact on the nation’s economy. He assured the NLRC of continued support from the ministry.

National Lottery Regulatory Commission Director General Lanre Gbajabiamila reiterated the commission’s commitment to engaging stakeholders and promoting responsible gaming. He highlighted the importance of balancing industry growth with social responsibility.

Comrade Toyin Adeyanju, Executive Secretary of the National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF), urged operators to make accurate remittances to the fund to support its various projects across the country.

Dr. Maryam Keshinro, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-governmental Affairs, commended the National Lottery Regulatory Commission for its dedication to excellence.
