Man Takes His Own Life in Delta State After Argument with Wife

A 49-year-old man, identified as Mr. Charles, tragically took his own life in the Jeddo community of Delta State on Monday. According to local sources, the incident occurred after a heated argument with his wife.

Charles, a member of the Jeddo Community Vigilante, reportedly consumed a lethal amount of insecticide following the dispute. He was found deceased at his in-law’s home in nearby Ugbokodo.

While no suicide note was left behind, empty bottles of the insecticide were discovered in his possession. The Delta State Police Command has been contacted for comment but has not yet responded.
