Arsenal legend Ian Wright has claimed that Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford “seems to be a shadow”.
Wright was speaking on ITV after United’s 2-0 win at Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup third round on Monday night.
The Red Devils created a lot of scoring chances and should have won by a bigger margin.
Rashford was one of the players who struggled to assert themselves against the League One opposition.
After the game, Wright said: “And at the moment, he does feel like – you know, sometimes I think maybe could cross, you know, yes, he can shoot.
“But he just feels like he’s in a place where something needs to happen for him, at the club, or somebody needs to talk to him, because he needs to go to the place where we expect him to be.
“At the moment, he seems to be a shadow of that player.”
