Since joining Chelsea from Manchester City in the summer of 2023, Palmer has made a significant impact on the team. His influence has been reminiscent of that of former Chelsea winger Eden Hazard, who left a lasting mark on the club after their Champions League victory in 2012.

When asked about his dream teammate, Palmer expressed his admiration for Hazard, noting that while their playing styles differ, he aspires to bring the same level of excitement to the game.

“If I could play with any Chelsea icon, it would definitely be Eden Hazard,” he stated in an interview with The Premier League on YouTube. “Our games are different, but I aim to be as thrilling as Hazard.”
