EPL: Closest Title Race So Far – Brown-Finnis Responds to Manchester City’s Draw and Arsenal’s Victory

Former England goalkeeper Rachel Brown-Finnis believes that the 2024/25 season will feature the most competitive Premier League title race to date.

Her comments came in response to the results from Saturday’s matches. In the early game, reigning champions Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw against Newcastle United. Meanwhile, Arsenal required two late goals to secure a 4-2 victory over Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium, putting Mikel Arteta’s side on equal footing with City at 14 points.

Before Liverpool’s match against Wolves, Brown-Finnis stated on *Final Score*: “I have no doubt this will be the tightest title run yet.” A victory for Liverpool would see them climb to the top of the table with 15 points.
