EPL: Chelsea Desperate to Snatch Osimhen from Galatasaray in January Transfer Push

Chelsea are reportedly making urgent moves to secure the signing of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen in the January transfer window. The Blues had previously failed to land Osimhen from Napoli during the summer, despite lengthy negotiations. ⚽💼

Osimhen eventually sealed a season-long loan deal with Galatasaray, but Chelsea’s interest hasn’t waned.

According to Wazobia FM’s Onokala Onyebuchi, who is close to Osimhen, Chelsea are still eager to strike a deal for the Super Eagles star this winter.

Onyebuchi shared in a tweet on Sunday:
“Chelsea wanted a pre-agreement with Osimhen for January 2025, but it was rejected before his move to Galatasaray. Now, they’ve been calling Napoli, keen to finalize a deal in January. They’re even willing to meet his wage demands 100%!”

However, Onyebuchi also made it clear: “It’s impossible. Osimhen will stay at Galatasaray for the full season.” 🚫🔒
