Renowned musician David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has claimed the top spot as the most followed Nigerian on social media. According to the latest rankings by entertainment statistics company Top Charts Africa, Davido boasts an impressive 56.1 million followers across various social media platforms. This revelation, unveiled on Tuesday, places the ‘OBO’ sensation at the pinnacle of social media influence.

Securing the second position is Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy, who commands a substantial 38.6 million followers. Following closely behind is Wizkid, with a noteworthy 38.4 million followers, solidifying his standing as the third most followed Nigerian.

In the realm of Afropop, Yemi Alade and Tiwa Savage share the fourth and fifth positions, each amassing an impressive 34.3 million followers. The list continues with popular actress Mercy Johnson (33.5 million followers), music mogul Don Jazzy (30.1 million followers), songstress Simi (29.9 million followers), skit maker Mark Angel (29.7 million followers), and actress Regina Daniels (28.7 million followers), rounding out the top ten in that precise order.
