Nigerian comedian Ayo Makun, widely known as AY, has filed a formal complaint with the police against Agozi Samuel regarding his assertion of being romantically involved with actor Yul Edochie’s former spouse, May Edochie.
Samuel took to his Facebook page to claim that AY was engaged in a relationship with May and was contemplating marriage with her subsequent to her divorce from Yul.
In response, the comedian has lodged a petition with the Delta State Police Command to address these accusations.
On January 24, AY, represented by his legal representatives, lodged a petition accusing Agozi of criminal defamation and cyberstalking, and demanded his arrest and prosecution.
The petition stated, “The published accusations imply that our client is engaged in an extramarital relationship with May Eodchie, the wife of Yul Eodchie, and alleges our client’s involvement in the marital discord between May and her spouse.”
AY vehemently refuted these claims, denouncing them as unfounded and false. He emphasized the detrimental impact of these allegations on his personal life, professional endeavors, integrity, and standing in the eyes of acquaintances, colleagues, and the broader community.
AY urged law enforcement authorities to promptly investigate and apprehend Agozi Samuel, presenting evidence supporting allegations of defamation and cyber harassment.
